The 1967 Connection

The Summer of Love Connection: How 1967 Became My Brand's Spiritual Blueprint

Hey beautiful souls! Welcome back to the Feel the Love 528Hz journey. If you missed my introduction post, go check it out - but if you're here, you're probably ready to dive deeper into the story behind this brand. Today I want to share something really personal with you - the exact moment everything clicked, and how a random song in my head led me to discover why I've been drawn to good vibes my entire life.

The Creative Struggle Was Real

Let me be completely honest with you - before this brand came together, I was stuck in creative quicksand. For months, I'd been designing t-shirt after t-shirt, pouring my heart into concepts that just... weren't it. You know that feeling when you're creating something and it feels forced? Like you're trying to fit a square peg into a round hole? That was me, day after day, getting more frustrated with each design that fell flat.

I kept thinking, "Why isn't this working? I know there's something here, but I can't find it." Sound familiar? If you're a creative soul reading this, you've probably been there too. That space between knowing you have something to offer the world and actually finding your authentic voice.

The Morning Everything Changed

Then one ordinary morning, I woke up with this song stuck in my head - you know the one: "If you're going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair." It was playing so clearly in my mind, like my soul's personal radio station had tuned into something important.

Most people would have just hummed along and moved on with their day. But something about this felt different. Call it intuition, call it divine guidance - whatever you want to call it, I knew I needed to follow this thread.

So I did what any curious soul would do - I started researching.

The Discovery That Changed Everything

What I found absolutely blew my mind. That song, "San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair)" by Scott McKenzie, wasn't just a catchy tune from the '60s. It was the unofficial anthem of the Summer of Love in 1967 - and here's where it gets really wild - 1967 was the year I was born.

Suddenly, everything started making sense. This wasn't a random song getting stuck in my head. This was my soul remembering something essential about who I am and why I'm here.

The Summer of Love: More Than Just a Movement

As I dove deeper into researching 1967, I discovered that the Summer of Love was one of the most spiritually significant moments in modern history. Between 75,000 to 100,000 young people converged on San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury district that summer, creating what historians call "the largest migration of young people in the history of America."

But this wasn't just about music and fashion (though both were incredible). The Summer of Love was fundamentally about consciousness expansion, spiritual awakening, and spreading love energy to transform the world. Sound familiar? It should - because this is exactly what we're doing with the Feel the Love 528Hz brand, just with modern tools.

The movement started with something called the Human Be-In on January 14, 1967, in Golden Gate Park. Thirty thousand people gathered with the intention to "turn on, tune in, drop out" - not as an escape from reality, but as a peaceful protest against restrictive society and a celebration of expanded consciousness.

to be continued.........

Until then, keep spreading those good vibes, beautiful souls. The world needs your light now more than ever.

With so much love and gratitude,                  Cello
